Roast Beef!

It's been over a year since I had a roast beef dinner and today is the day! I've been invited up to my dear old mam's for a slap up feed of roast beef, roast tatties, carrots and Yorkshire puds with a rich thick gravy. MmmmMMMMmmmm delicious. The soundrack for today is by the mighty Tyr: The Lay of Thrym! Thanks to metal mastermind LostJimmy for alerting me to this excellent heavy metal album!

  3. The feed was indeed of a slap up nature and roast beef with all the trimmings was just as tasty as I remembered. I will say hi to the old dear for you the next time I see her. I take it your folks are doing well?

Tyr is indeed a treat to these ancient lug'oles! Proper heavy metal with some mind blowing solos! I'm listening to it now at pretty low volume out of respect for my quiet as mice neighbours.

  4. Well that is great news,"Roast beef and trimmings" nothing like the dangerous power of meat to get you through the day, that will send the blood coursing through your veins, and give you a ruddy complection.

  5. I have been working my way through several cattle since then and just today I demolished a few beefburgers at a BBQ! I can feel the sap rising as I type ;-D
